Salary: Level 4, $87,712 - $92,057 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022)
This is a three (3) month fixed term, full-time position commencing ASAP with possible extension and/or permanency The Infrastructure Division has responsibility for the planning and provision of facilities (land, buildings and equipment). Infrastructure Operations forms part of the Infrastructure Division and also provides services to schools on security and emergency management.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is a master Coordinator/Administrator and a good communicator to join our small team of four (4) to support the Manager and Senior Consultants managing the electronic security program and the service providers delivering on the program.
The Role As the successful applicant you will prepare work orders for repairs of security monitoring systems and liaise with maintenance contractors on the extent of work required. You will also work with the Department of Finance (Building Management and Works) on the review and selection of appropriate vendors and contractors, coordinate the review of supplier and contractor performance, and approve payments for completed works.
You will maintain a register of Department Master Keys for all public schools and other sites and coordinate security patrols. Managing and administering the Department's patrol fleet, ensuring services, repairs, and necessary checks are completed also forms part of your responsibilities. On the more technical side, you will liaise with the Security Monitoring Centre, ICT, and schools to confirm that school and departmental technologies and systems are compatible and refer queries to the appropriate service providers.
