Job Description: As the Production Coordinator, you play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of a VFX Project. You are responsible for delivering quota and managing tasks across a team of artists/departments. Alongside running rounds, dailies, and attending client reviews, you are also responsible for maintaining the shot tracking database to ensure deliveries are on track. You will communicate with upstream and downstream departments to be aware of upcoming inventory and strategies for any schedule adjustments. As the point of contact for the crew, you are responsible for ensuring the team has clarity on tasks, quota, and progress. You will work closely with the Senior Production Coordinator to assess upcoming schedules, delivery requirements, and provide updates for internal and client-facing reports.
Key Responsibilities: Assigning tasks to artists under their control to achieve the daily/weekly quota targets. Coordinating on upstream dependencies to ensure enough material is provided to achieve daily/weekly quota targets. Reassigning tasks to low/none performing artists. Working with the Creative Leadership team to achieve task sign-off in order to hit daily/weekly quota targets. Providing briefing and reference materials to artists to ensure tasks are completed on time. Maintaining accurate shot grid shot and task material, information, and assignment data. Hosting, running, and attending internal dailies for tasks and shots assigned to them with the goal of receiving feedback leading to the sign-off of their quota on time. Distribution of notes and feedback to artists in a timely manner. Updating tasks and schedules based on feedback given with strict approval from Production Manager and Producer. Liaising with Creative supervision to ensure workflows and toolsets are working to achieve quota delivery on time. Supporting Production Assistants and ensuring client sends are sent on time and to client specifications. Supporting any key reports to update on project progress.
