About the role We are excited to announce that we are on the lookout for Procurement Specialist to join our team located in our Welshpool office, working with a collaborative and friendly team from Mondays to Fridays.
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for implementing a robust and efficient supply chain process from procurement, inventory management and control to consumption.
This includes ownership of the inventory software and managing goods coming into or going out of the store location.
This role will also provide support in the development and execution of the procurement strategy ensuring that all purchases follow the policies and standard procurement process whilst coordinating purchasing administration, documentation management and general planning and execution of all associated transactions.
What you will be doing Management and control of all inventories on site both physically and digitally; Manage and optimize goods coming in and out of the store; Maintain stores functionality, ensuring governance and security of goods in and out; Complete purchasing activities as required; Provide support in dealing with suppliers in identification and resolution of potential issues/discrepancies related to transactional procurement and escalating where necessary; Keep effective and open communication between procurement and its internal customers and provides support to keep internal stakeholders informed of issues or potential issues with purchases made; Support the execution of end-to-end sourcing activities.
What you will bring Experience in store management practices and procurement; Detailed and organized approach to work; Strong knowledge of industry standards, practices, and regulations related to procurement of goods; Proficiency in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously; Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve effective procurement and logistics practices; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members; Intermediate user of MS platforms.
