Coordinator Procurement and Contracts Full-time Opportunity (35-hour week) 19-day 4-week cycle (Variable day Off) Salary Ranging from $117,954.20 - $137,081.88 per annum + 11.5% Superannuation (Depending on Experience & Qualifications) Leaseback Vehicle Option Available! The Opportunity As the Coordinator Procurement & Contracts, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing Council's procurement and tendering function and ensuring compliance with the Local Government Act and other relevant legislation. You will provide high-level support and advice to Council's staff regarding procurement and purchasing processes, ensuring compliance with Council's policies and guidelines. You will provide effective management of Council's contract register to ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements and provide probity advice in relation to procurement activities in consultation with the CFO.

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Business, Purchasing, Contract Management, or Public Administration and/or minimum 10 years' experience. Demonstrated experience in a Senior Procurement Position within a large multi-purpose organization. Sound knowledge of procurement, tendering policies, and contract management. Ability to work across the organization to understand business requirements as applicable to purchasing and procurement processes. A high level of interpersonal, presentation, and communication (verbal and written) skills. Demonstrated capacity to coordinate and mentor staff. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently within deadlines. Current NSW Driver's Licence (Class C). Be willing to undergo a National Police Check before commencement.
