The Y Queensland stand together with all people regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or belief. We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator on a full-time basis, 38 hours per week to join our team at YMCA Gabbinbar Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) located in Centenary Heights.
About the role In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators.
You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.
As the OSHC Coordinator you will be responsible for: The development of quality programsManage the day-to-day running of the programsCoordinate staffing and rosteringEnsure compliance with policyUndertake administrative requirementsWork collaboratively with families and the school communityAs the OSHC Coordinator: You have completed (or are close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services)You have sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcareYou thrive in delivering excellent customer serviceYou have excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have a valid First Aid and CPR certification, or the willingness to obtain themYou have a current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain oneAbout the team YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland.

About your workplace at the Y YMCA Gabbinbar Outside School Hours Care Service is based at Gabbinbar State School in Centenary Heights and welcomes all families of the Gabbinbar community.
YMCA Gabbinbar OSHC is licensed for 100 children daily and operates from 6.30am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday during school terms and Vacation Care operates from 6.30am to 6.00pm during all school holidays.
YMCA Gabbinbar OSHC offers a wide range of fun, stimulating and appropriate programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings.
