We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator on a permanent part-time basis, with the scope of going full-time to lead our newest service at YMCA Stanthorpe Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), which is opening in January 2025.
About the roleIn this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators. You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager, and the OSHC Manager.
As the OSHC Coordinator you will be responsible for:The development of quality programsManaging the day-to-day running of the programsCoordinating staffing and rosteringEnsuring compliance with policyUndertaking administrative requirementsWorking collaboratively with families and the school communityAs the OSHC Coordinator, you should have:Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services)Sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcareA strong ability to deliver excellent customer serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain themA current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain oneAbout the teamYMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school, and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland. We are the fastest-growing OSHC provider in the South East, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.
About your workplace at the YYMCA Stanthorpe Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located in the Stanthorpe State School, licensed for 30 children per day. The service has exclusive space room and outdoor area that allows expansive learning programs and activities.
