We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator on a full-time basis, 38 hours per week to join our team at YMCA Grovely Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. About the role In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators. You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.
As the OSHC Coordinator you will be responsible for: The development of quality programsManage the day-to-day running of the programsCoordinate staffing and rosteringEnsure compliance with policyUndertake administrative requirementsWork collaboratively with families and the school communityAs the OSHC Coordinator: You have completed (or are close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services)You have sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcareYou thrive in delivering excellent customer serviceYou have excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have a valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain themYou have a current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain oneAbout the team YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland. We are the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.
About your workplace at the Y YMCA Grovely Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is situated at Grovely State Primary School, licensed for 70 children and offers Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care between 6.30am-6pm.
