About the role The Coordinator Ministerial Liaison is responsible for:
Provision of high level and quality Ministerial Services and specialist advice to assist the Department to deliver high quality and accurate Ministerials within the required timeframe.Leads the planning and maintenance of Ministerial processes to strategically manage ministerial, parliamentary, and Cabinet matters in accordance with established quality standards and timelines.Provides accurate and timely advice to the senior executive management, including Director General, relating to parliamentary and ministerial enquiries and associated matters on urgent or contentious parliamentary and ministerial matters and prepares briefing notes as required.Ensures delivery of the full range of ministerial and cabinet material including ministerial correspondence, speeches and briefing notes, responses to Parliamentary Questions and issues, Cabinet, Executive Council and ERC submissions and all other requests from the Minister; ensuring they meet standards in terms of accuracy and style requirements.Benefits and opportunities Flexible working arrangementsCareer pathway opportunitiesLearning and development opportunity programsApplication process How to apply Please ensure you review the attached Job Description Form (JDF) for further information about the requirements of the position. We require you to submit: A comprehensive Resume / Curriculum Vitae, that clearly outlines your transferable skills, experience and highlights your key achievements.A statement in no more than 3 pages demonstrating your suitability for the role in the context of the following role specific criteria (please provide examples to support your claims):Demonstrated experience in the delivery of ministerial and cabinet material including ministerial correspondence, speeches and briefing notes, responses to Parliamentary Questions and issues, Cabinet, Executive Council and ERC submissions and all other requests from the Minister; ensuring they meet standards in terms of accuracy and style requirements.Provision of high-level support to senior leaders, and the ability to lead and manage teams.Ability to successfully manage relationships with ministerial offices and other key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication between the Department and Minister's offices to ensure ministerial and parliamentary requests are met and service delivery is efficient and appropriate.Contact details of two work related referees.All remaining Job-Related Requirements and/or Role Specific Criteria will be assessed at a later stage in the recruitment process.
