Dugald River mine in Northern Queensland is one of the world's top 10 Zinc mine operations, which has been producing zinc concentrate for customers around the world since 2017.
The mine is committed to a low-carbon future, with a Dugald River Solar Farm supplying a third of the mine's power and reducing emissions by 33%; this is just the start of its renewable energy transition.
Dugald River employs around 750 employees and contractors on a mix of fly-in, fly-out and local residential basis.

Reporting to the Superintendent - Mining, as the Coordinator – Mining you will direct and coordinate the operational team through planning, organisation, and implementation of all underground mining activities required for optimal mine development.
This role is offered on an 8/6 roster FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane and DIDO/BIBO from Cloncurry & Mt.
Isa.
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and align them with production plans.Facilitate team communication to prevent bottlenecks.Lead improvement projects and monitor mine schedules.Uphold safety procedures, investigate incidents, and support safety leadership.Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with SHEC standards.Mentor supervisors to build a high-performance team.Provide guidance on operational issues and maintain contractor relationships.About You To be considered, your skills should include:
