About the RoleWe are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Coordinator Mechanical Maintenance Execution based within our Operations Services Maintenance Shutdown and Weekly teams in Western Australia working either 8/6, 5/2/4/3.
Reporting directly to the OS Superintendent Maintenance, this role is responsible for the planning, scheduling and resourcing of mechanical maintenance work across OS.
Your duties will include:
Foster positive & productive working relationships and team cultureSet and maintain clear safety standards within the leadership teamLead safety investigations and risk assessmentsPlanning, scheduling and resourcing for the mechanical maintenance teamBuild capability through coaching, mentoring and providing technical advice and support to OS maintenance supervisorsLead and support continuous improvement opportunitiesCoordination of mechanical maintenance work with multiple internal stakeholdersTimely data collation, analysis and sharing of key work management metrics.About YouThe successful candidate will possess the following:
Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through using your influenceThe ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment and build effective working relationshipsExperience or a fast learner with work management software tools (e.g. 1SAP)Experience in detailed scoping and maintenance planning for multi-disciplined workgroups operating in a Fixed Plant Maintenance environment is preferred but not essentialExperience gained in a shutdown environment would be advantageousDemonstrated computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)Minimum of C class manual driver's license.About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
