Your ability to design, implement, and evaluate engaging programs and events that cater to diverse community interests and demographics, along with building and maintaining strong relationships with community members, local organisations, and stakeholders will see you succeed in enhancing library visibility and engagement with our community.To be successful you will need:A tertiary qualification in Library/Information Studies or relevant experience attained through previous appointments.Proven experience in end-to-end program delivery, staff supervision, and stakeholder engagement.Exceptional organisational skills with the capability to be flexible and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to lead, motivate, and support a small team of library staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and innovative workplace culture.Knowledge and experience in marketing strategies that promote services and programs through various channels including social media, printed collateral, and community partnerships.Join a progressive & flexible organisation in this opportunity to influence change and be valued for your contribution.
This is a part-time (0.86FTE), permanent position offered at General Officer Level 5 (under our Enterprise Agreement 2022).
