This purpose of this role is to support the operational leadership teams on site with the successful delivery of training initiatives. Ensure training strategies and development paths are being followed by Barminco employees and continuously improve onsite training and compliance. This is a site-based role on a 14:14 roster.

Job security with a full-time, permanent, salaried positionEmployee benefits and perks such as Novated Leases, Salary Sacrificing, Discounts on health Insurance, Retail, Hotel accommodation, and much more.Opportunities and support in career developmentCompany referral programExcellent company cultureAbout the opportunity: Support the site leadership team in the effective implementation of Barminco safety management systems.Coordinate new starter arrivals to site including logistics from the airport on arrival, camp, site familiarizations, and introductions.Provide and facilitate on-site inductions ensuring all employees, contractors, and client personnel are site compliant.Provide and facilitate on-site visitor inductions as required.Provide and facilitate underground tours for new starters and visitors in line with induction requirements.Be proactive in the field identifying hazards and risks.Ensure entry-level new starter program is adhered to and relevant documentation is completed, communicated, and stored for reference.Conduct scheduled workplace inspections, task observations, CCFV's and Check-ins across various departments on site.Maintain training records, reports, and documents required to meet corporate, site, and regulatory requirements.Assist site operational teams to coordinate upskilling of operators working on site according to their individual professional development progression plans.Assist with the review of, and update company and site procedures/safe work practices as necessary.Support UG Trainers with preparation of required documentation for training and competency assessments as required.Facilitate and coordinate on-site D&A, fitness, and hydration testing.Complete compliance audits against primary roles in personnel model and secondary audits against shift sheet task allocations.Complete weekly and monthly statutory refuge chamber inspections.Facilitate and submit training course requests as directed by operational leaders and management.Key Requirements: 5+ years experience (underground mining experience desirable)WHS cert IV or aboveTraining and Assessing - Certificate IVUnderground operational knowledgeProficient in the use of MS Office Suite
