Coordinator Governance and Strategy
The Town is seeking a highly motivated and suitably experienced Coordinator Governance and Strategy to join the team in a full-time permanent capacity.
Your new role The Town of Victoria Park is a dynamic and diverse urban community located just 10 minutes from Perth's CBD.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, experienced professional to join our Governance and Strategy team.
You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and specialist governance advice.
Our ideal candidate will have: Skills and knowledge to effectively manage the Town's governance responsibilities and to ensure legislative compliance across the organisation.Skills and experience to provide leadership and direction to the Governance and Strategy team.Knowledge in governance, local government compliance legislation, council procedures, corporate planning and strategy development.Ability to build constructive working relationships characterised by a high level of acceptance, cooperation, and mutual respect.Relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent level of knowledge and practical experience and significant management experience.You will have extensive knowledge of governance responsibilities, the ability to interpret and apply legislation, local laws, and policies, and the ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team effectively.
