primary responsibility will involve processing Freedom of Information (FOI) applications received by the Department in accordance with the FOI Act.This includes coordinating applications, conducting research, and assessing documents to formally decide on the release of information.The role requires extensive collaboration with all FOI stakeholders throughout the process.Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining statistical information pertaining to FOI applications.This data will be utilised for Departmental annual reporting, Ministerial reporting, and various other purposes.Furthermore, you will be expected to offer guidance and training on FOI administration, interpretation of the Act, and accessing documents beyond the FOI process.Your substantial knowledge and expertise in interpreting and applying similar legislation will be pivotal for success in this role.Working collaboratively in a team environment, effectively managing competing priorities, and
