About the role As Coordinator Financial Services, you will lead the delivery of high-quality financial services, ensuring the effective management of human, financial, and physical resources.
You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in finance practices, including developing policies, enhancing reporting systems, and supporting long-term financial planning.
In this role, you are the key liaison between Council and the broader Moorabool Shire community, ensuring financial services are responsive, transparent, and accessible.
You will engage with various stakeholders, including ratepayers, residents, government departments, and community groups, to provide financial information, support decision-making, and ensure Council's financial policies and processes meet community needs.

We are looking for someone with tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance; membership of ICAA/CPA is desirable.
Your ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear, user-friendly manner together with a proactive approach to your work will be critical in building trust and fostering positive relationships that contribute to the Shire's long-term prosperity and growth.
