But enough about us, let's talk about you We are in the market for an experienced and qualified Environmental Engagement professional, you are passionate about your profession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge. As the Coordinator you will lead a small team to deliver environmentally based volunteer and educational opportunities to the Mandurah community. You and your team will play an important role in raising awareness of environmental and sustainability issues, establishing and maintaining partnerships with local environmental groups and stakeholders, as well as delivering key projects that will improve the City's internal environmental performance.

Tertiary Degree in Sustainable Development or equivalent (essential).Minimum five years' experience in environmental education and community engagement, including managing volunteers (essential).Minimum five years' experience in project design and delivery (essential).Minimum five years' experience in staff supervision and leading a functional team (essential).Demonstrated knowledge and experience in engaging with a variety of stakeholders on community environmental or sustainability projects (essential).C Class Driver's Licence.Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas.Highly developed project development and management skills, including the ability to establish and maintain multiple projects concurrently.Highly developed analytical and conceptual ability, including the ability to develop practical solutions to problems.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced role and manage multiple concurrent priorities.Highly developed research, analysis, evaluation, presentation and report writing skills.Demonstrated ability to constructively work as a member of a team.Ability to work outside of normal hours, including weeknights and on weekends.As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test.The finer details This full-time Level eight (8) position attracts a salary range of $114,586 - $121,381 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience and includes Restricted Private Use of a Council Vehicle.
