Coordinator Enhanced Maternal

A leadership role to ensure the City of Ballarat Enhanced Maternal and Child Health team can grow and partner with new initiatives, supporting early parenting and vulnerable families. We seek an experienced MCH Nurse with complex families and at-risk children experience, to provide clinical leadership, implement best practice, and contribute to strategic planning. You'll work with a multi-disciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, and family violence practitioners, and be involved in partnership and collaborative activities with stakeholder agencies. A background in leadership, management, or human services is desirable, along with an understanding of policy initiatives within the Enhanced MCH program. As a Coordinator Enhanced Maternal and Child Health Nurse, you'll be part of a team that values honesty, transparency, and accountability, and works to support the health and wellbeing of the community.
Provide clinical leadership and implement best practice initiatives Contribute to strategic planning and implementation of the City of Ballarat's Council Plan and Municipal Early Years Plan Work with a multi-disciplinary team to support vulnerable families and children Develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholder agencies Support staff and contribute to a positive team environment To be successful in this role, you'll have:

Experience working with highly complex families and children at risk A background in leadership, management, or human services An understanding of policy initiatives within the Enhanced MCH program Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
