Develop and implement a strategic and integrated approach to foster diversity, equity and inclusion to achieve organisational goals. Conduct thorough research and develop responsive strategies to deliver, and evaluate key approaches based on community needs and industry trends. Deliver strategic policies and plans for progress. Champion cross divisional collaboration and partnerships to drive impact. Use your in-depth knowledge of universal design and social planning to support community-centered initiatives.

About the Team Consisting of Community Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and First Nations Engagement the Community Wellbeing team is responsible for leveraging a collaborative approach to actively championing community development, capacity building and social inclusion across Council and the broader community.
More about the job We are looking for an experienced person with a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion with a track record of bringing together community voices to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across the organisation and community. Leveraging your extensive experience and sector knowledge, you will use a strengths-based approach to empower and build on existing capabilities to meet the current and future needs of our City's diverse population.
This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, and is classified at Level 7, with a salary from $119,565 per annum + Super.
