Community Development (Community Services & Development)Government - Local (Government & Defence)The Coordinator Community Managed Centres is an exciting and diverse leadership role in a passionate and committed team, reporting to the Team Leader Community Development and working collaboratively with the Community Development leadership group.The role is our specialist community governance advisor, leads the effective delivery of five community-managed centers (5 direct reports, 10 staff), in collaboration with management committees, and delivers our Community halls funding program, which plays an important role in building social connections, providing volunteer opportunities and supporting community participation.About YouWorking as part of a collaborative Community Development team in a fast-paced, diverse and fun environment – your energy, positivity and passion for community will enable you to support the management committees and employees to deliver high quality, high outcome, meaningful community services.You will be an experienced people leader, with a strategic mind, strong writing skills, experience managing budgets and the ability to identify and drive improvements for value and efficiency in partnership with diverse stakeholders and community.You have a strong ability to foster unity, communicate with influence and build rapport. You don't mind being up front, presenting data, and providing development to staff and stakeholders to drive evidence-informed decision making.You'll be no stranger to multi-tasking and able to support the team through both operational and strategic work.
