About the role As the Coordinator (Community Development and Partnerships) you will have the opportunity to focus on strengthening community resilience and building on existing community strengths and partnerships to help shape the future of Ipswich. You will also lead and manage the Community Development team and deliver upon the Community Development Strategy 2021 - 2026 .
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Champion customer service and development practices to improve service delivery for community needsLead and manage projects aligning with the vision of a 'Safe, Inclusive and Creative City'Foster strategic partnerships to address the needs and aspirations of the Ipswich communityCollaborate on innovative solutions for social issues affecting diverse groups and priority populationsManage the preparation of business cases, project planning, and funding to implement key strategies and programsAdvise Council, committees, and management on community development mattersOversee the development, budgeting, and reporting of Community Development programsTo be successful in this role you will have:
A degree in Community Services, Business, or 5 years' experience in a similar roleExcellent communication skills to builds strong collaborative relationships with stakeholdersA current Queensland C Class driver's licenceWorking with Children Check - Issue of Blue Card and Positive Notice Letter (issued by the Queensland Government) or Exemption CardAn excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadershipAbout the benefits This is a permanent Level 7 position with a salary commencing at $110,575 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
