About us:The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) provides a comprehensive and integrated range of basic support services for frail aged individuals, people living with a disability and their carers. The CHSP is directed towards cost effectively assisting individuals who require basic support services to continue to live in the community, thereby assisting individuals to achieve the highest possible quality of life without which the individual would have to move prematurely into a hostel, nursing home or similar situation.CHSP provides a comprehensive and integrated range of basic support services for frail aged and other people with a disability and their carers. CHSP provides these services to the residents of Springsure and surrounding areas and the Woorabinda Aboriginal Shire Council area.About the role:The CHSP Coordinator position is based in Springsure and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Springsure CHSP and coordination of the Woorabinda CHSP service ensuring effective service delivery to clients in the community and management of data collection systems that comply with State and Commonwealth Government legislative reporting requirements.The Coordinator supports the delivery, maintenance and development of management systems which ensure the ongoing support of aged persons in Springsure and Woorabinda.About you:The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Ability to manage the business activities and the administrative and operational functions and staff of the Springsure and Woorabinda CHSP.Display personal drive and integrity, maintain confidentially provide accurate advice on issues, take personal responsibility for accurate completion of work, and seeks guidance when required.Proven leadership, management, and team development skills in an environment of organisational change in the delivery of health services, including the ability to effectively manage human and financial and other resources.
