About this role As a senior member of the Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit (MOCTU), the Coordinator, Clinical Research (Finance) has oversight of MOCTU research activities and ensures the financial management of clinical trials, including review of site costs, research budgets, operational budget consultation, and provide financial insight.
They independently set-up new clinical trials as required, determining resourcing requirements, track invoices to and from stakeholders, and review clinical trial research agreements in the context of clinical trial research activities.
The incumbent is a member of trials leadership teams and is expected to contribute to strategic and financial development discussions.
They provide education, professional development, and day-to-day supervision of study coordinators and other multi-disciplinary team members involved in clinical trials, and develop relevant policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and delivery of high-quality, financially sustainable service.
This role reports to the Clinical Trials Manager.
