About your new role You will design and deliver a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service following Y values You will oversee a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program following My Time Our Place Volume II principalsYou will become a trusted leader in the community, working closely with Y NSW families, schools and charity partners to turn the Y's global mission into local action You will manage a dynamic team of Educators, helping everyone's individual growthYou will be able to follow our development pathway to learn new skills and build your career About you Y NSW staff love supporting their communities!Y NSW OSHC staff are motivated to guide children's development outside of the classroomEveryone at the Y NSW ensures that we provide supportive service for familiesEveryone at the Y NSW is committed to safeguarding and hosting safe learning environments Strong written and verbal communication skills to support relationships within the team, with the families and school.Proficient in the use of technology and systems, such as Teams, Outlook and Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Office, and internal management platforms  To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience of and commitment to be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of childrenExperience leading others Ability to critically reflect to develop innovative learning every dayAvailability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours Qualifications A Diploma in Children's Services, or equivalent (Desired)Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 OR CHCPRT001 (Mandatory)Valid NSW Working with Children CheckHLTAID004 /HLTAID012 - Current First Aid and CPR Police Check (paid for by the Y) Y work with us? Across 55 schools in NSW, our team of OSHC Educators and Coordinators provide Before school, After school and School Holiday care that's dedicated to the safety and development of children.
