ABOUT THE POSITION An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Business Improvement professional to coordinate the delivery of business improvement, business process mapping, continuous improvement programs and organisational service reviews across the Shire.
Reporting directly to our Chief Executive Officer, you will deliver real change and be a key player in developing and implementing strategic projects.
Responsibilities of this role include: Business systems and processes are developed following consultation across the organisation.Advice and support on all information required for business process mapping is provided to ensure consistent structure throughout the organisation.Training on business process mapping, continuous improvement and maintenance of organisational systems and processes is provided.Change management initiatives are developed and rolled out to ensure successful implementation of the business process mapping and continuous improvement programs.REQUIREMENTS To be successful, you will have demonstrated ability to influence, engage and provide direction to stakeholders of all levels.
You will be a team player who fosters good working relationships and works collaboratively with others.
Having exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, you will respond effectively to changing circumstances and competing priorities in order to deliver results.
Experience in a business improvement role, performance reporting systems, business process mapping and continual improvement is essential.
Tertiary qualifications in business, change/project management or a related discipline as well as an understanding of Lean and other continuous improvement/innovation methodologies (Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking) would also be advantageous.
A salary in the range of $105,751 – $121,526 will be offered based on ability and experience as well as a range of other benefits including:
