About the Role With the current incumbent on extended long service leave, we are seeking a strong people leader to enable the Arts, Culture, and Local History team to deliver key outcomes in 2025.
Key priorities include:
Supporting the development of the new Council Plan by aligning arts, cultural, and local history initiatives with strategic priorities.Leading the creation of an Arts Action Plan through comprehensive community consultation.Reviewing and updating Manningham's Public Art and Art Collection Policies.Overseeing the day-to-day operations and programming of arts, culture, and local history initiatives.Skills and Experience Proven leadership in a community-focused environment.Strong project management skills, especially in delivering community programs.Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities with internal and external partners.Strategic thinker with a passion for community cultural development.Knowledge of local government policies, regulations, and governance (desirable).Click APPLY to submit your up to date CV and cover letter addressing the key requirements of the role under the "Who are you?" section of the position description.
