We are seeking a Global Product Specialist to join the Services Business Area team.
As a Product Specialist, you will lead improvements on the wear and spare components applied in Stirred Mills (Vertimill, HIGmill, and SMD) and HRCTM (HPGRs), acting as Global technical support within the Business Line.
Your role plays a crucial part in contributing to our business.
This position involves up to 30% travel.

What you'll do Provide technical support for all aspects of the product and business needs, including internal and external training, supplier analysis, and customer opportunity analysis.Define the technical value of stirred mills products for our customers and disseminate this knowledge through the organization.Direct and assist Product & Process engineering in process design and optimization, machine design, and improvements.Support Field Services group regarding parts installation, commissioning, and optimizing machine operations.Assist engineering and procurement with vendor qualification and selection.Act as a stakeholder for proposal scope, accuracy, and feasibility.Contribute technically to the development of marketing and sales tools.Improve the product portfolio, processes, specifications, and quality requirements.Support the harmonization and standardization of product data.Support R&D initiatives and work with RTD to drive long-term product competitiveness and innovativeness.Maintain price lists (Global and Market Areas).Support inventory management initiatives.Develop technical content for product and service training.Develop new designs for existing products.Provide technical information to product management, sales, manufacturing, and purchasing teams.Lead in developing business opportunities.Assist with field problem analysis and creation of field solutions.Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems.Who you are Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant work experience (5+ years).Professional experience in technical support for mining products.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.Engineering knowledge in tools such as Teamcenter, Vault Professional, Inventor, and/or AutoCAD.Knowledge of SAP and Office; Power BI knowledge is a plus.Previous experience in a technical field is advantageous.What's in it for you An inspiring purpose - Enabling sustainable modern life.Safe work environment - Safety is a fundamental value at Metso.Compensation and rewards - Attractive package aligned with market practices.Flexibility - Open and flexible work environment.A thriving culture - Committed to developing an inclusive culture.Extensive learning opportunities - Encourage ongoing dialogues and training.Interaction without borders - Collaborate with colleagues globally.Get in touch
