The first Hotel Indigo to be launched in Australia, Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets comprises 145 guest rooms, a lively restaurant- Market & Meander, and the iconic rooftop bar- Merrymaker, with panoramic views of Adelaide, we are setting the trend for local dining and cosmic cocktails!

A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Making every single meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the tastebudsTaking ownership for your workstation – keeping on top of supplies, equipment and wasteEnsuring that your work area, equipment and section is kept clean at all times, in accordance with current health and hygiene regulationsTaking on other ad-hoc duties like a true team player, including washing up as requiredWhat we need from you: At Hotel Indigo we look for people who are energetic, approachable and cultured with a sense of fun; always curious to discover more and share thoughtful suggestions with our guests and colleagues. You will also have:
Commercial Cookery qualification and previous experience working in a commercial kitchenAn understanding of HACCP and the ability to comply with local laws on food handlingMust hold a valid Safe Food Handling CertificateGreat communication – you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk toThe strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneelingA good grasp of reading, writing and basic mathsThe flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidaysMust meet the legal requirement to work in Australia without limitations or restrictionsWhat you can expect from us: Let's #GoFurtherTogether and experience a place where you can be yourself, share your ideas, support your personal growth and wellbeing, and be a valued member of an inspirational team.
