Cook & Kitchen Hand

The Polish Club Milton is looking for a Cook and Kitchen Hand (2 separate roles) for our restaurant kitchen. We pride ourselves on being the only full-time operating Polish restaurant in Queensland and our mission is to showcase Polish culture and customs through our hospitality offerings. We are seeking candidates who are available on a casual "as-needed" or roster basis, preferably for an immediate start. We currently open Wednesday through to and including Saturday, from 11am until 9pm. We need someone who can commit 20-40 hours per week. 
Duties include:
Meal preparation and serviceCleaning of kitchen and food storage areasEnsuring compliance with food safety regulationsSupervision of junior kitchen staff and volunteersPreparation of stock orders and review and unpacking of deliveries Other key considerations:
Experience in cooking Polish cuisine will be highly regarded but is not essential.Polish language skills will be highly regarded but are not essential.Small team environment of up to 5 staff/volunteers.Pay will be commensurate with experience and will be in line with pay rates set by the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award.
