Preparing, cooking, plating, and presenting dishes.? Estimating, ordering, and receiving stock and supplies.? Competently and safely using all kitchen equipment and tools.? Supervising and training kitchen staff.? Collaborating with the chef to plan seasonal menus, daily specials, and specialevents.? Minimizing waste.? Adhering to standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and presentation.? Ensuring compliance with relevant health regulations.To be successful in this role, you should have:? At least 2 years of full-time, relevant industry experience.? A Certificate III with at least 2 years of on-the-job training, a Certificate IV, or anotheracceptable trade qualification.? Alternatively, an additional 3 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieuof formal qualifications.? Full-time work rights in Australia.? A deep understanding of Indian spices, cooking methods, and techniques.? Strong knife skills, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.? A high level of personal hygiene.?
