About the role We're looking for several positions of Chef and Cook for our restaurant in Melbourne, VIC.
We need someone who has some prior experience in preparing Indian Delicacies.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of the staff member would be:
Duties of Cook:
Cooks prepare, season and cook food in the kitchen. Preparing and cooking food, seasoning and portioning dishes as per the Menu of the Aangan restaurant. Preparing ingredients as per the Chef instructions and requirement on a daily basis. Examining food to ensure quality. Seasoning food during cooking. Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes. Storing food in temperature controlled facilities to ensure ingredients are stored appropriately. Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements as per customer request. Assisting the chef with menus and estimating food requirements.
