About the Facility Aegis The Pines has been designed to offer a broad range of accommodation and lifestyle options for 78 residents in three areas.
Designed to complement the Ellenbrook Village, it incorporates a Mediterranean style.
Situated within the majestic pine plantation and the natural bushland of Ellenbrook.
Many 'day trip' venues are located close-by in the Swan Valley, providing a wonderful variety of choice for that special outing.
Aegis The Pines is an ageing in place facility with both High and Low Care accommodation available in all areas as well as specialist dementia care.
Accommodation comprises single and double rooms with large ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning.
The different areas or wings all have lounge and dining areas and access to extensive gardens and patio areas.
A working day will involve: Organising kitchen staff in the preparation and serving of meals.Preparing resident's meals according to dietary plans and menus developed.Managing receipt of stores, and food storage according to the relevant regulations.Ensuring correct food handling techniques are always observed.About You You should ideally be an empathetic person who:
Enjoys working with the elderly.Can work independently and as part of a team.Is able to supervise, organise and guide staff, to deliver high quality catering outcomes.Has availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts over weekdays and weekends.Can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.You should possess the following:
