We're looking for a Cook to join our genU team and help deliver exceptional meals while supporting a diverse and motivated team.
As a genU Cook, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality meals and ensuring that safety and food regulations are always followed. You'll work in both cafe kitchens and a vegetable processing kitchen, offering variety in your day-to-day tasks. Some of your key responsibilities:Train and guide supported employees, helping them reach their full potential, while ensuring food safety standards and kitchen readiness.Report faults or safety risks in equipment and the kitchen environment, following OH&S guidelines.Ensure products and services meet customer needs and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and reliability under pressure.Work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and assist with other duties as directed by your manager, in compliance with genU policies and procedures.About YouYou're passionate about food and enjoy working in a dynamic team. You have the ability to stay calm under pressure and bring a mature, friendly approach to your work. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help you succeed in this role, and you'll be someone who takes pride in providing high-quality meals and supporting those around you.
