Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Cook to join our team and contribute to the food and beverage operation at Hotel Indigo.
Under the guidance of the Head Chef, you will assist with food preparation, presentation, and kitchen maintenance while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and present food as per the hotel menu and daily specials.Assist with stock control and reduce wastage through efficient practices.Work independently to ensure a clean and organized kitchen.Foster strong working relationships with the team and collaborate during peak hours.Provide courteous and professional service, ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety.Participate in daily briefings, training, and meetings.Support the Head Chef with other duties as required.Qualifications & Requirements: Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Certificate.Professional and personable with a can-do attitude.Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach.Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and public holidays.Ability to lift and carry objects up to 23 kg.Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred.Why Join Us:
