About The Position
Wests Cardiff is currently seeking a casual experienced Cook to join the team.
Our catering team works across our Bistro operations and T-Bones Restaurant.
The T-Bones menu is packed with spicy South American choices, including ribs, steaks, chicken and Mexican inspired dishes.
Our Bistro menu has all our club favorites with weekly specials that give you variety.
Key responsibilities include: Ensure prep sheets are completedPreparation of high-quality food during serviceAssist other sections when requiredCleaning of work areasAssist with the set-up and close down of serviceEnsure food is stored to hygiene standardsEnsure appropriate disposal of wasteThis position will require availability for split shifts for lunch and dinner service.
Availability for work on Friday nights, weekends, and good availability through the week is a must.
As part of The Wests Group recruitment and assessment process, all candidates progressing to the next stage will be required to complete relevant due diligence and probity checks specific to the role.
This includes, but is not limited to, a Criminal History Check, reference checks, and right to work verification via our company portal.

We are seeking an energetic team player with a passion for food and good service.
You pride yourself on presentation & consistency.
Experience in a fast-paced kitchen, strong cooking skills with trade qualifications, will be highly desirable.
You will be available to work nights, weekends and be flexible to assist with all catering operations across the site.
