Hero Sushi Mount Druitt (Shop 2011, Westfield Mt Druitt, 49 North Parade Mount Druitt NSW 2770) is looking for an experienced Cook to join our restaurant.
We are currently operating over 49 branches of restaurants and kiosks in ACT, NSW, QLD and VIC.
Our company serves Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese food.
If you are interested in working in the hospitality industry and a large chain restaurant company, this role will be a fantastic opportunity for you.
Experience required:

To qualify for this role, we expect the following from you:

- At least a Cert III in Commercial Cookery or higher qualification in relevant field

- A minimum of one years of practical working experience in the hospitality industry as a Cook

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment

- Reliable, passionate and self-motivated.
About the role:

As our Cook, you will be working full time, 5 days a week (38 hrs) and you will be responsible for the following:

- Preparing ingredients to be used for cooking before opening of restaurant

- Examining the quantity and quality of ingredients/ materials

- Preparing and cooking food using cooking equipment according to customer's order and any special requirements

- Portioning and presenting food on dishes

- Storing ingredients after use and ensure minimum wastage

- Training other kitchen staff when required

- Comply with company policy and instructions

Remuneration:

We are offering a salary of: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00
