Along with our excellent coffee, our simple thought-out menu comprises of family favourites which hero local produce. We are looking to hire the position of Cook within our business to work on full-time basis. Location: Orange, NSW 2800 Salary range : $70,000 to $80,000 depending upon the experience and role. Role: Full-time Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Planning, organising, preparing, and cooking food according to Coffee Club's recipes. Preparing dips, sauces, gravies, and garnishing. Preparing the food to meet some special dietary requirements and to make sure the food the stored in facilities that are temperature controlled. Ensuring all food products are stored, handled, prepared and served safely and in accordance with food safety regulations. Following proper cooking techniques and presentation standards for all menu items. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils and workstations. Coordinating with front staff and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with recipe specifications to main consistent food quality. Ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of supplies, equipment, and the workstation. Skills, qualification, and experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a busy commercial cafe or fast-paced restaurant Minimum Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality/ Hotel Management or a related domain. An extensive work experience can substitute the requirement of qualification. Knowledge of hygiene and food preparation standards is required.
