So you'll be serving meals that could be texture-modified or plated in a particular way.Our residents get to enjoy freshly prepared meals, regular outings, music therapy and family-like care.We'll Also Be Asking You To Prior experience in commercial cooking servicesAdherence to dietary requirements (allergies, texture modified, purees, etc.)Maintaining legislated food hygiene and general safety practicesAn understanding of specific dietary requirementsKnowledge of safe handling & storage of chemicalsGreat interpersonal skillsCertificate III in Commercial Cookery from an accredited training bodyAbout YouYou may already be working in a similar role in aged care or perhaps you've worked in restaurants or commercial kitchens and are ready to try something different.If you genuinely care about elderly people, and want a stable career path, look no further!
