Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Cook who is passionate about Nepalese cuisine and has a strong foundation in culinary techniques. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a love for fresh ingredients, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook authentic Nepalese dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation to make sure that our regular customers are happy. Assist manager in menu development, including seasonal specials and traditional dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas. Monitor food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting, preferably with Nepalese cuisine. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients specific to Nepalese cooking. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
