Job DescriptionWhat you will do: Commencing late September, in this newly created position, you will work closely alongside the Café Manager, Park Manager and the Group Food and Beverage Manager to represent the core values of the NRMA in terms of professionalism, cleanliness and guest experience.
Our very own café is located onsite and will re-open for trade under new management.
This is a part-time permanent position.
The Café will initially be open for a 5-day split trade (AM and PM) service, Thursday to Monday.
You will:
Ensure all aspects of food preparation, cooking and presenting of dishes are according to company guidelines and customer preferencesLiaise with food service staff and management regarding customers' orders and general service of kitchen operationsMaintain a safe and hygienic working environment, to include proper storage of food, equipment, utensils and implementsConduct daily temperature checks of fridges, freezers, storage areas, deliveries and record assessments where necessaryClean, sanitize and disinfect all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning schedulesWhat you will bring: Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or club kitchenCertificate in commercial cookeryA working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safetyPossess highly effective verbal communication skillsHappy to work as part of a team and chip in to get the job done right!What's in it for you?
