About The CompanyThe renown Kalgoorlie Hotel in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, is looking for an experienced full-time Cook.
Built in 1897, the Kalgoorlie Hotel is a grand old establishment which caters for families and customers of all ages with its friendly relaxed atmosphere, excellent tasty and varied menu, or late at night with a band and safe party atmosphere.The positionThe Cook will support our Head Chef and the kitchen team to deliver a modern Australian style menu.At least one (1) year of relevant employment experience is required.
In addition, formal Cookery qualification is preferred, however we will consider additional work experience in lieu of a formal qualification.Duties IncludeAssist with ordering of supplies and develop prep list in readiness for servicePrepare fresh ingredients in readiness for serviceEnsure compliance with food safety regulations such as stock rotation, clean working areasPrepare and cook food according to menuContribute to menu design from time to time with the Head ChefAssist and support junior and kitchen staffSalaryThe Cook annual salary range is $70,000 - $80,000.
The salary will be discussed with the successful applicant and will be determined according to the applicant's skill set and experience.
