Cook - Lake HavenPart-Time Opportunity About RFBI Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution (RFBI) operates 22 residential aged care villages and 21 retirement villages.
We also offer a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT to support older Australians to remain living in their own home.
About the role: We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our passionate catering team at RFBI Lake Haven Village.
Within this role your key focus will be to ensure the delivery of a high quality food service to our residents.
You will assist the head chef in the preparation of meals, setting the dining area and serving meals for our residents, offering a friendly service and creating a homely environment.
Your key responsibilities will include: Compliance with food and safety program, providing high quality, efficient and effective servicePrepare the dining area for meal times, serving food and drinks to our residentsMaintain a clean work environment ensuring all cleaning and dishwashing is done in a timely mannerAssist the head chef with preparation of mealsPrepare meals in compliance with health and nutritional standardsAssist in catering for special functionsAbout you: You will be a keen individual who is driven by the opportunity to work for a reputable aged care provider and become part of the RFBI family.
