Only About Children Wahroonga Our purpose-built Campus is intimate and homely.
We are located at 89 Burdett Street Wahroonga, on the corner of Burdett Street and Palmerston Road, right next door to Hornsby Hospital and a short walk to Waitara Public School.
We are a 15-minute walk to Waitara Station or a 17-minute walk to Hornsby Station.
Our Wahroonga early learning centre has parking onsite so families can experience a safe drop off and pick up every visit.
We are conveniently located a short walk from nearby bus stops that provide bus service to the wider area in both directions.
With two dedicated outdoor play areas, in a shaded natural environment, children have a wonderful space to explore and lead their own play.
Our three age-based indoor rooms are specifically designed to encourage learning and growth amongst our children, with a focus on natural elements and safety.
We love to connect with our local area and community through excursions and activities that feed into children's interests and learning.
At Only About Children childcare Wahroonga, these include regular trips to our neighbouring Only About Children Hornsby Campus and the local, family owned cafe.
About the Role Our Only About Children Campus in Wahroonga is currently looking for a Part Time Cook for 3 days a week (can be flexible).
We have scrumptious and appealing menus designed by our own nutritionists which are prepared by our campus cooks each day; meaning you get to focus on doing what you love best; cooking!Our nutrition program includes a 4 week rotating seasonal menu that meets children's needs, taking into account nutritional and energy requirements as well as cultural and health needs.
* Cook for our children aged between 0-6 years at the campus.
* Prepare meals as per the Oac Nutrition Menus * Plan and cater for all allergies and dietary requirements * Interact with children in a positive and warm way about their food * Ensure presentation of food is appealing and exciting for children * Adhere to all policies about hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen * Ensure the kitchen and appliances are well looked after at all times You Are Worth More.
