You will place the highest importance on food safety and hygiene with food preparation and presentation to ensure our Owners and guests dining in our Tree Bar and Grill a la carte restaurant have a memorable dining experience.
You will also have the opportunity to assist our Executive Chef in menu creation.What You'll BringTo be considered for this great opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following:Previous experience as a Cook/Chef or similar position, within a resort/hotel environmentTrade Qualified (Certificate III Commercial Cookery) is desirableThorough understanding of the principles of food safety and hygiene of food preparationInnovative and have a passion for preparing high-quality restaurant meals, with the ability to produce and create menusDisplay an open friendly manner and positive attitude and team spiritGreat attention to detail with an excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize varying work demands and workloadDemonstrate ability to work unsupervised in a pressured environmentDisplay excellent people, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to work a flexible roster, including nights, weekends, school, and public holiday periodsHow You'll Be RewardedBuild your career with a value-driven organization that promotes continual growth and development for its people.
