We re a vibrant, friendly club where community spirit meets the excitement of lawn bowls a perfect place to work and connect with people Your Opportunity We re looking for a passionate and experienced Cook/Chef to take the reins in our kitchen. This is a dynamic role for someone who loves creating fresh, varied menus, managing a motivated team, and taking pride in serving high-quality meals that keep our members and guests coming back About You As our ideal candidate, you will: Lead and inspire the kitchen and restaurant team, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation Create a regularly updated, exciting menu that keeps things fresh and engaging for our guests Manage kitchen operations, from daily orders to inventory, and oversee all safety and health protocols Collaborate closely with the Venue Manager to align our kitchen s vision with the club s goals Organise and coordinate special events, functions, and catering needs Key Responsibilities: Menu planning and costing Team hiring, training, and regular team meetings Daily/weekly ordering and stock management Adhering to HACCP standards and ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety regulations Skills and Experience Required Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Trade qualifications in Cookery (preferred) 4+ years of leadership experience in a kitchen setting Experience organising events, functions, and managing a food budget Strong time management and communication skills with a passion for customer service Why This Role Stands Out No late nights!
