We are seeking a part-time cook or chef to join the team and work amongst our kitchen team to achieve impeccable food service.

HAPPY TEAM = HAPPY CUSTOMERS. About the candidate The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The applicant will be self-motivated and dedicated to food quality, consistency, and portion control.
Strong knowledge of proper food handling, practical cookery, and hygiene standards is required.
The applicant will also have excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to keep workstations clean and tidy.
Availability on a 14-day roster, including early evenings, weekends, school holidays, and most Public Holidays, is necessary.
Hours vary between 6am and 10pm, 7 days.
Qualifications and experience Food Handlers certificate/training or similar Experience in a busy café or restaurant preferred The Role You will work as part of the kitchen team, made up of qualified chefs and experienced cooks.
Each day will be different; however, you can expect to be assisting with plating and cooking menu items, prepping stock, assisting in coordinating stock, and participating in day-to-day cleaning tasks.
At times, you may also assist with dishes and other general workplace tasks.
Remuneration The successful applicant will be remunerated according to the Restaurant Industry Award.Permanent part-time position available.
