The Role: The Cook position requires a competent individual to supervise the kitchen, manage staff, and maintain high food safety and hygiene standards. Key responsibilities include:
Setting up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipmentChecking equipment cleanliness and premises operationsWeighing ingredients and following recipesRegulating oven temperatures and seasoning foodMaintaining food storage and cleaning equipmentEnsuring quality products and presentationManaging the kitchen and training staff Qualifications and Skills: The ideal candidate will possess:
AQF Certificate III or IV in Commercial CookingAt least 3 years of cooking experienceAbility to plan menus, create new dishes, and manage kitchen staffExperience in upholding health and safety standards Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
