Sponsorship Availability We are now hiring for Japanese Cook/Chef and Food & Beverage/Waiter Supervisor Position Title: Cook (Specialist Ethnic Cuisine) About the role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of food items, ensuring the quality and presentation meet the highest standards.
The Cook will collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
Tasks and Responsibilities ·        Prepare ingredients and cook food according to recipes and established ·        standards.
·        Prepare sushi rice, handle raw fish, craft different types of sushi rolls, ·        prepare different sauces and other items as per menu and possess good ·        knife skills and cutting techniques.
·        Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality, monitor food temperatures ·        during cooking and storage, and ensure that finished dishes meet the ·        restaurant's quality and presentation standards.
·        Maintain a clean and organised workspace, follow proper hygiene ·        practices, and monitor food temperatures.
·        Manage inventory levels of ingredients, monitoring stock levels, and ·        communicating with the kitchen manager regarding ingredient orders ·        and replenishment needs.
·        Communicate effectively with other staff to coordinate tasks, maintain ·        workflow, and ensure timely food service.
               Skills and Experience Required ·        Proven experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen.
·        Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, ·        and procedures.
·        Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
·        Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
·        Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
·        Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  Job Type  Full-Time Salary Information $55000 to $65000 ---- Position Title: Food & Beverage/Waiter Supervisor About the role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced F&B/Waiter Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising/coordinating/training of lower grade food and beverage.
The supervisor will stock control for the restaurant and ensure customers are served in a professional and timely manner Tasks and Responsibilities ·        Ensure customer service is of the highest standard.
·        Front of house duties including, cash management, end of day reconciliation.
·        General service prep duties including table arrangement & cleaning.
·        Supervise & training of junior/new F&B staff in general serving duties.
·        Floor staff rostering and delegation of duties to all wait person staff.
·        Leaving restaurant prepped & ready for service at end of night, this includes general cleaning duties ensuring all cutlery & tables are sanitary & appropriately cleaned & ready for service the following day where possible.
·        Ensure customer communication is always maintained, ensuring orders are taken & delivered in a timely manner.
·        Ensure communication is maintained between kitchen and floor staff regarding customer orders.
·        Opening and closing procedures as required by management.
·        Maintaining a professional and tidy appearance at work.
·        Deal with customer complaints and feedback in a professional and non-confrontational manner ·        Other duties as stipulated by the directors of the business.
               Skills and Experience Required ·        Proven experience as a F&B supervisor in professional kitchen.
·        Relevant work experience of at least one year full-time ·        Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
·        Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
·        Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
