Your roleWe are seeking an enthusiastic Conveyancing Paralegal to join our Real Estate & Construction practice group in Canberra, on a permanent full-time basis.The Commercial team has a proven track record of handling significant transactions within the Australian property market.
Our expertise extends across the entire spectrum of property-related matters, encompassing retail shopping centres, commercial offices, and industrial sites.
We have been integral in advising clients from the initial stages of acquisition through to development, providing comprehensive guidance and strategic insight throughout the process.Working within a team of experienced Paralegals, this role will be responsible for end-to-end file management for high volume development project matters.
Duties will include: Processing new instructions, with direct contact with clients.Perusal of contracts and preparation of letters and documentation.Completing online searches.Managing paper and PEXA settlements.Financial and administrative tasks.About youWe'd love to hear from candidates who are in the early stages of their conveyancing career and eager to grow their career with a supportive and progressive Firm.Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate: At least 12 months' previous conveyancing paralegal experience.Well rounded verbal and written communication skills.An ability to manage competing priorities and time constraints practically and effectively.The ability to build rapport with clients.A team player and team first approach, with the ability to work with team members of varying levels.Pro-active focus on progressing matters to completion.About GadensGadens is the only law firm to be recognised in AFR BOSS Magazine's Best Places to Work 2024, which ranks Australia and New Zealand's best workplaces across nine different industries.We are a leading, independent Australian law firm, with a clear vision and strategy for the future.
