About The Role
The Controller - Mine Operations is responsible for complying with the open pit mine planning process to ensure mine haulage is correctly and efficiently dispatched, and to ensure safety standards, regulations, and best practice mining criteria are met and maintained.
What Youll Do Operate the mine's fleet management system and correctly and efficiently dispatch mining equipment. Comply with all of Whitehaven's policies and procedures, and adhere to Whitehaven's code of conduct and a high level of discipline. Be able to work an even time roster. What Youll Bring 2 years or more experience dispatching with a fleet management system. Experience with dispatch. Mine site experience and understanding of safety processes and systems. An ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously to meet multiple goals. Have a high level of computer literacy and comfort. Seniority level Entry level
