Job Title: Controller / Director of Accounting We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team at Aeronix Technologies Group as the Controller of our Aeronix business.

The Controller role is critical in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and providing strategic accounting guidance to support our growth.
Key Responsibilities: Cost Accounting: Implement and manage effective cost accounting systems to track project costs, profitability, and financial performance.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as government contracting requirements (e.g., FAR, CAS).Audit Coordination: Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely completion and compliance with applicable standards.Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management and stakeholders.Tax Coordination: Lead external tax preparation and reporting (coordination with outside experts).Risk Management: Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Team Leadership: Collaborate with the rest of the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Accounts Payable / Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity and support ongoing projects.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA preferred.Minimum of 7 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in government contracting.In-depth knowledge of government regulations, accounting principles (GAAP), and cost accounting standards.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; experience with ERP implementation a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
